Default Taller Front Headrests?

I am 6'4" and the front headrests in my 2015 Lariat are a little short for my comfort. Evan at full extended height, the bottom of the headrest pushes my neck forward. I can turn it around but then it's so far back it's like not having it at all. Any suggestions? Does Ford or anyone else make a taller one?

I'm 6'3" and find that the problem is that they are tilted to far forwards and the adjustment is only to add even more tilt. Very uncomfortable driving this truck along with the hard seats. Hard to love a new $50,000 truck that hurts to drive.

Any chance that you can remove them, turn them around, and use the tilt feature to correct the now backward tilt?

I did look at doing that but seemed to not going to work that great.

I'm not trying to be a smart *** but, isn't that why you test drive before you buy?

My dealer wouldn't let me test drive it to the cottage and back.

Tom - I'm certain most test drive before they buy.

Butt, had to do that, typically there is just a short test drive, and the prospective buyers are usually too excited to really test their trucks.

For example, take Ford, how much testing did they perform on the newly designed F150 trucks? And with all their analysis and testing, they have a few new issues still today, popping up, right!

Really, a 24 hour test drive and inspection before you buy is needed. And even doing that, you're still going to have issues arise. Let's say you do a 10 mile test drive, then you do a 500 mile test drive, chances are you'd find out more about driver comfort in the longer ride.

The answer it seems, when you find one you like, and it likes you, keep it! Otherwise buying a new truck is like a box of chocolates.
