I ordered the GM lights (with the updated part number) and was going to install them. But I’m wondering which way is up and which way is down. One edge of the lights is completely flat. The light curves around on the front and then is flat all the way to the back. The other side is more curved. Does anyone know which is up and which is down? Should the completely flat be facing down or up?

Not sure what is up, or down. I mounted mine so the pigtail would be closest to the camera feed through.

Please tell me more about how you wired them up. Did you tap in to the trailer harness? If you have BLIS, did the hookup interfere with BLIS operation? Thanks.

Finally got mine installed. Chevy part on Ford Truck.....tapped the license plate wire and ran a terminal to the ground bolt for ground.

Haven't installed on the truck yet. I used the Ford Super Duty marker light bar, cut a slot in the top of the bumper step pad and recessed the whole bar so the bottom of the 3 lights meets the top of the step pad. Looks like clearance between the marker light bar and the tailgate will be tight, but I'm hopeful it will clear.
