SYNC3 too bright after upgrade to v3.0?
I recently upgraded my Sync3 (8" screen) to v3.0 in my 2016 F150. I generally run the cluster pretty dark - all the way down - and I kept Sync set on night mode all the time. After the update, I find that a. the display is not bright enough during the day unless I've set the brightness all the way up and engaged day mode (blue/white) and b. the display is WAY too bright at night even set to Night mode (black), brightness turned all the way down, and Auto Dim engaged.
Am I the only one? The truck will be going away in a few weeks, but it's irritating.

Yep. The same bug that caused me to roll back from the unofficial versions, still exists in the official.

Ugh, that's what I was afraid of... a stupid bug. I'm sure Ford will get that fixed Real Soon Now.

Mine also seems to stay bright in day mode, and fine at night. Regular start vs remote makes no difference. Also seems very inconsistent about which mode it wants when lights are on in the day (like while raining) compared to before. Since 3.0 it seems completely random if it will choose blue or black in that situation even when ambient light is at similar levels.
