SYNC3 too bright after upgrade to v3.0?

Has anyone found a solution for this within v3.0? As others have said, in previous versions of sync, you could leave the display in night mode all the time and still have it deliver two different brightness values. If it was day time, it would have a day time range, and likewise for night time. The brightness of ALL illuminated items such as the dash, buttons, and infotainment would be adjusted by use of the buttons to the left of the steer wheel.
Now, with Sync 3.0, the infotainment is only brightness adjustable with the buttons if you leave it in autodim mode.....which means you cannot make it night mode all the time. Kind of really sucks.
And idea when v3.1 might be coming out, or if something like this can be forscanned back right?

it just looks right to have the screen with a black background with these dark interiors. I might tinker with forscan and see what the GT theme or one of the other OEM themes look like in day mode to make it more tolerable in the meantime. I’ll let you know if I find anything promising.

I posted this in another thread that this came up on but didn't come back here. Whether remote starting or button starting at night if I wait the minute or some for the dash to go dark and dome lights to go out before starting the display will remain at the set brightness level. If you start it before that you have to hit the dimmer control.
anybody else want to see if theirs works the same?

I just noticed this on the way home from work last night and confirmed this evening ....but doesn't seem quite the same as some have described, My screen brightness is fine during the day but when the dash and sync3 (V3.0) screen switch to night mode, the dash darkens but the sync screen stays bright though the image inverts to the dark background. As soon as I hit the dimmer button up or down the brightness goes to a comparable brightness to the dash lights and is good until the next time if goes from day to night. So at this point when it switches to night mode I just have to hit the dash dimmer up or down to correct it. When I noticed this last night I did not use remote start but I did tonight. So does not appear to be relevant for me.
