Default SYNC3 2.2 USB update
Tried relentlessly to update my SYNC 3 in my 2016 F150 Lariat for two weeks. Tried re-formatting, reloaded the update from FORD three times, split the two install files and loaded separately, and master reset. I get "install failed", from either bad file or out of space. Out of options. Anyone tried to reset the APIM through FORScan?

Ran into a similar problem when updating my 2016, ended up being the USB thumb drive. Try a different one. System seems to be picky.
