Sync 3 - Issues
I think that you need to update Sync3, and that having the phone in place while you do it might confuse things. Once Sync3 is updated, I'd delete your phone off of it, then re-pair it. I'm thinking that would force Sync to re-enumerate the phone for Apps.
Here's the Sync help site, there's phone info at the bottom of the page. You can register yourself and your truck at this site too.

Yes I was connected wifi to my home network, if you are suggesting not having the phone plugged in to the usb how would sync know what apps need to be updated as I thought your phone had to be plugged in in order to use apps? (I believe this is an iPhone only requirement in that android doesn't need to be plugged into use for app link)
Regardless I'll try again tomorrow. If it still fails I will be looking for a sync support number.

I don't recommend trying the master reset first. Please attempt a system reset instead: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo...US_10_2015.pdf The instructions are on page 113 of the manual.
Keep me in the loop.

Closed out all apps on phone
Restart of phone (holding power and home button)
Re-launched sync enabled apps (accuweather, Spotify, iHeart auto)
Removed Sync from Bluetooth saved connections
Re-connected to sync
Plugged back in via USB
Went to app screen
Under 30 seconds all apps appeared, graphics loaded
Unplugged/ plugged back in throughout the day same results
SUCCESS!!!
Thank you!
Ok, I had already completed the master rest before I saw this message BUT I've got good news to report.

That's great, Zoomerang! I'll pass your thanks on to Shaay. Thanks for the update.

So I will say the apps loading continues to be spotty, sometimes it works other times it does not. I'm hoping this will eventually be fixed with an update or the inclusion of Car Play in the meantime I just don't rely on the apps being there.
Furthermore it now appears on start up my System enters menus that shouldn't even be an option considering I have an XLT 302a package.
How do you explain that?

Kinda glad to hear it wasn't just me as I kinda thought I was going nuts!

I saw another post explaining this behavior. I'm going to run it by my support team. I'll be back with an update soon!
