Sync 3 issue
I have had my 2016 now for about 3500 miles and everything works great, except I have this one problem I can't seem to figure out.
I have a Galaxy S7 and when I am connected bluetooth to the truck, and try to listen to a voice mail, it plays it for a few seconds and then comes up "call ended"
I spend about 6 hours a day driving around Atlanta for sales, so it gets really annoying having to disconnect my bluetooth just to listen to a voicemail lol.
Any input is appreciated

Have you tried deleting your phone from Sync and adding it back? If after that it's still not working I would do a factory reset on Sync and see if that fixes it.

I'd like to help! Are you using an app, or are you calling your voicemail?

Sorry for the slow reply.
Re-installing the phone did not work.
I am using the samsung/google app to access my voicemail. I have not tried calling it, so I will do that next.
Also, sync will connect to my phone, but then at some point kick my phone off, and will not allow me to re-connect until I turn the truck off and back on.
Normally I know the idea is to point the finger at the phone, however my 2016 ram work truck, old 2014 f150, and 2012 edge never did any of this on the same phone. (i go through alot of work vehicles lol)

Hey bizzyb0nes!
Because you're using an app, I suggest switching the audio source to BLUETOOTH STEREO when playing the voicemail: https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/sync-...th-sync-3.html It's possible that when you start playing from the app, SYNC thinks you're making a phone call then it ends.
For the phone issue, I suggest trying a system reset: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo...US_10_2015.pdf Instructions are on page 113.

I use a Nexus 6P and since the 7.0 android update I have to turn off BT then back on EVERY time I get in the truck. not sure if its the phone or the sync. but before the update to 7.0 it would lose the phone randomly while driving and would not re connect at all till a key cycle. even then it might be 50/50 if it would reconnect. I think sync is still crap compared to Uconnect on dodge but I love my Ford..... why cant we have the best of both worlds. I mean its 2016 FFS why cant simple software be fixed....

I have not done the reset yet. Putting it on bluetooth audio gave me the same result, but call my voicemail worked the 1 time i've done it. Maybe there is an issue with the google app.
I will try a reset next
