Sunroof will not close
Yesterday I opened my sunroof and it will not close now. The glass still but about an inch or two before it gets all the way to the front there is a pop and the glass stops and goes all the way back open. It islike There is a safety sensor that is sensing something is there and snakes it open back up. Does anybody have any ideas?

I had the dealer do mine. The new parts are much more robust. It’s a big job...hopefully you’re under warranty. When mine broke, twice (I forgot it was broken once) I was able to get it to close again but it took some messing around. The second time I looked in the track and pulled out the broken plastic pieces. If you mess with it you should be able to get it closed.

Company info:http://www.sunroofdoctor.com/Go to parts and then factory installed sunroofs then select F150 and the repair kit should be what you need.

Noticed a water stain on the shade yesterday, and opened the shade today to check for moisture. When I opened the roof I got a bunch of popping and racket. The roof closed, but not completely. I had to hit the button twice to get it to complete the cycle. I have an appt tomorrow, hopefully the dealer will go ahead and replace it.
Update: Dealer had the parts and got it done in about 3 hours. But........, now I have a bunch of wind noise and have to take it back tomorrow to get the glass adjusted.

Mine broke, wouldn’t close. I called the dealer and asked if there was a trick to closing when broken they said no. Went in a got a rental for about 15 days while they ordered parts and fixed. Ford paid for it all under warranty. They can’t expect you to drive a truck with a open window. They actually had to store it in doors waiting for parts because they couldn’t close it all the way either. Hopefully you’re under warranty.
