Default Sunroof

I just got a 2015 F150 Lariat. I got it used with 5k miles on it. I love the truck. It has everything I want ExCEPT for a sunroof. Has anyone had one of the large factory sunroofs installed after purchasing on of these? If so how did it work out? About how much was it? Thanks.

They seemed to leak in 2015, but I didn't see any reports of them leaking on the 16's. But adding one seems risky. I debated adding one to my 07, but didn't get around to it. Lots of people get aftermarket sunroof's installed so they must not all leak. Having a hole cut in my roof always weirded me out.

^ My thoughts exactly. I wanted to add a sunroof as well but after reading the numerous threads on them leaking, decided against it. Good luck though if you decide to do it, let us know how it goes.

That is my fear. Don't want leaking.

When you're looking see about warranty. If they're willing to warranty it they're more likely to do a good job.

That's what I was thinking. Not sure if this is something a ford deaership would do or not.

Couldn't hurt to ask, but I don't think they will. It's a bit much for them, but maybe.

Expensive, and risky, proposition.

My 2015 Twin Panel Moon Roof has not leaked at all... It's been great!!!

BUT I would never ever add one if the truck did not come with it.
