Easily? This has me intrigued. I have a Platinum, but have a wife and 4 kids. It would be really nice if we could all sit in the truck. Care to share details on exactly how easy it is? I’ve got Park Assist and Lane Keep Assist. Those buttons are in the console

Depends what trim you want it from. I got the platinum trim because I'm doing the brush aluminum conversion. If you go here on Tasca's website and look at item #8 you can pick which one you want

Depends on trim level. I'm upgrading to the brushed aluminum from the platinum so it's a bit more. Let me look through everything and see what it would have cost if I kept lariat materials.

Same response as above.

At that point it becomes less of an issue of changing the shifter and more of an issue of losing the center console. It can easily be done, but in a more highly optioned truck like a platinum it will be difficult, not only because of the buttons as you mentioned, but because there was never a middle seat made in the leather above the lariat. So the King Ranch and Platinum would almost be impossible unless a seat from a Lariat was reskined in a custom Katzkin leather that matched the existing truck seats and then the buttons would still be questionable.

Sorry I should have worded my initial answer better.

Cost in Lariat materials:
-Super Duty Cup Holder HC3Z-25045A76-CA: $120.96
-Shifter Handle FL3Z-7A256-B: $24.86
-Shifter Cable FL3Z-7E395-D: $23.29
-WPt-983: $24.82
-WPT-982: $22.20
-WPT-1175: $33.37
-Column Shroud FL3Z-3530-CC: $15.42
-Steering Column FL3Z-3C529-M: $188.12

TOTAL: $641.04

The only other material is wire needed to make the harness.

Those prices are from Tasca's Website. Ebay might get you cheaper

Also another thing to remember is you can always sell your parts to recoup some of the cost.

Question: Is the 10 speed drive by wire or is there a mechanical connection?

Exactly. Everything should be the same except maybe the shift cable. That might be a different part. I would also double check the pinout on the shifter plugs to see if my wiring applies.

I didn't really see a need to take pictures because other threads have done such a good job of documenting the removal of the steering column and the remove of the center console shifter. From there it's just swapping shifter cables and throwing in your harness.
