Subwoofer choice
I have the Kicker one in my truck and I'm happy with it. It adds just enough extra bass to fill the system out. I went with the smaller combo unit mainly because it easily fit behind the seat and didn't require me to run any wires. Buy the plug and it plugs right into the factory harness. No power, remote or signal wires to run. That alone made up my mind that I wouldn't be going with a bigger amp/sub that would require a dedicate power wire run to it.
@RX1Cobra You have the part number for that "plug in" to plug into the harness? I am liking that idea versus running wires.

I have the Kicker 11HS8 in my 2018 Supercab. I love it! While it's not an audiophile's idea of the perfect system, it added quite a bit of bass to an otherwise stock system. It sounds good, was reasonably priced and was very easy to install. If you want a decent sound without spending a bunch of cash this is a pretty good little sub.

Nope. It came with more than enough wire for the complete install. I spliced into the rear speaker wires but there was more than enough wire to splice into the front speakers. I have the el cheapo system that came with no sub and sounded like s**& with basically no bass at all. It is far from earth shattering bass but it sounds damn good to me.
The kit comes with a heavy gauge wire that connects directly to the battery. The sub gets it signal to turn on and off from the speaker wires that I spliced into. You can set the sub to power on with the speaker signal or with 12 volts. Works great.
