Question Stubby Antenna?

Is there a preferred brand of stubby antennas? I probably would want one approx 12-18". Thanks.

Picked up the Craven Speed Mr. Stubby. really short, but doesn't hit the garage door and entry way anymore. seems to work just fine.

This is what I used, I don't use the radio, at all, ever, so I couldn't tell you what any impact might have been.

Got the 5" antenna. Looks good but spotty reception. Thought I ordered the 11-13" one but clicked on the wrong one.

You lose some reception...if you only listen to the radio and are on the fringe of the reception area; then I don't recommend the short stubby.

Sirius radio antenna is on top of the roof. What the OP posted is reception from the radio with local channels.
