I have only had my SCAB 3.5 NA about a month now and I am happy so far. I seem to be averaging around 19 MPG ( did the math on the 2nd tank ). I live in Eagle River Alaska and we have some pretty steep grades around here. The 3.5 NA takes them in stride barely having to give more throttle in order to maintain speed. I like the sports mode when driving in the mountains but the down shift freaks me out a little when going down hill. It REALLY can kick up the RPM!!!
Plenty of power on the HWY as well, at least for me. Will maintain 65 MPH with little effort. I think this engine will more than meet all my needs. I also have a Super Duty with a 5.4 and manual five speed. This f 150 with the 3.5 NA has at least as much power as my SD and seems to cruise on the HWY with less effort. The only thing I wish the F 150 had was a mechanical shift on the FWD. Up here its nice to just let off the gas and shift into FWD almost instantly.

I am not looking to win a drag race or pull a 10,000 pound trailer, but are there any published or unpublished 0-60 or quarter mile times for the 3.5L N.A.? I see tons of them for the other F-150 engines.

I looked for months before I ordered my 3.5Na and did not find any reviews or performance test on an F 150 with this engine. There is a YouTube video of the 3.5 NA that shows a dash view from 0 to 60. The 3.5 NA seems to be the engine no body wants other than the people who have it. Someone posted speculation in another thread that the 3.5 NA is a practical option that may have more appeal to people who would never even look at a forum or review but chose this engine based on practical needs.

closing in on 40,000 miles on mine, not a single drivetrain issue. (runs fine on 5-30 also)
