Default Stock tires pressure/ no load

Hey guys ... So I recently ran across some threads about tire pressure and learned that usually the door sticker is assuming you have a load of some sort. Well I rarely have a load and if so it's usually something rather light. So I was wondering what psi I should run my tires at, I have the 18 inch stock rims with the wrangler tires. Looking at the dash right now it's showing three tires at 37 and top right at 39 lol.

Thanks for any help I appreciate it!

I'm assuming your door placard shows the pressure required is 35 psi. I have found 32-33 unloaded gives the best ride and allows the tires to wear evenly. I ran that pressure on my 2007 for over 200k with 265/60R18's, and it was perfect.

I've only got 500 miles on my 2016 XLT, but I'm running the same, with the 275/55/R20's.

Great recommendation... I can definitely notice the ride quality being smoother... I have no idea why I was inflated to 40 from the dealership

Mine were originally at 36 and some ***-clown inflated them to 46 after my complimentary oil change and tire rotation. I was driving home from the dealership and was wondering wtf happened to my smooth ride.

I hate bringing any vehicle I own to the dealer for any reason because of things like that.

It's really amazing what a difference that 3 psi makes on the F150's. No one believes it until they do it.

I'm wondering the same on MPG as well. Mine are about 37psi on each tire. I'd hate to drop down to 33 and have my fuel economy go down several mpg as a result.
