Steering pull question
Hello, I just brought my first Ford F150 - 2019 Platinum, and am super pleased with it, except for this one weird behavior. Hoping someone has seen it. I tried searching in the forum and I don't think I see it, but if I missed it, then apologies in advance!
At speeds over about 40mph while navigating a left curve, the steering will occasionally pull further left, giving the feeling like it is about to skid and rollover. It is for a very short duration and just a slight amount, but it could be less because I turn it back by reflex. I don't know if it will actually continue turning if I don't correct it, and I don't intend on experimenting at that speed. But it is unnerving because I don't expect it. As far as I can tell, it does not seem to happen when turning right.
Any advice on what I could check on is greatly appreciated. As I said I am a truck newbie, so complicated jargon please. :-). I just need to know what this could be and if it could be a sign of anything serious.
Thanks!!

The truck has a system where it will “help” you steer through a curve or significant crown in the road to “lessen your fatigue”. It doesn’t always work right. Some people disable it with FORSCAN.

Sounds like lane departure assist. Maybe turn it off and see if that helps. I have had to turn it off on other vehicles in the past because it seemed like the vehicle thought it "knew" better than myself what the road was doing...
It could be your lane assist. My 2019 xlt with around 10k miles started getting a pull to one side on straight aways so I took it to the dealer they looked at it and said that the steering rack was sticking and binding so they replaced it under warranty

Wov, I'm so glad I found this forum!
I will try turning lane assist off. I don't have FORSCAN, I assume I need to get some sort of adapter first. But it seems like a cool thing to have. If I get that, I will attempt turning off the steering assist and see if it helps.
The only curious part is that this does not happen when turning right, only left has the issue. Anyway, this is a HUGE help. Thanks all for taking the time. I will report back after trying the above.
