Default Star White....anyone else?

I'm not sure I would have paid up for it if I ordered...actually I'm sure I wouldn't have, but in the right light it's pretty nice. I don't see it mentioned here at all. Anyone else driving around all Ziggy Stardust like me?

I bought a new King Ranch last Friday. When it's clean and in the sun, I think it looks really good. Otherwise, it just kind of looks like plain white.

I always thought the pearl whites looked kind of "dingy" when not directly in the sun, especially when parked next to a true white non-metalic vehicle.

For that reason, I always preferred the stark sterile non-metalic true white. Oxford white is pretty close.

But the pearls are very pretty, classy in the sun, for sure....especially fresh from a polish.

It's okay. I came from an 18 XLT Sport in Oxford White. They look the same to me at casual observance other than the small amount of metallic flake. I'm hoping that since this is "tri-coat" that the finish is more durable than the Oxford White finish. When I traded that truck in, it had all kind of rock chips in the front bumper shell, and it was less than 2 years old.

I really wanted star white, but they don't allow that color on sport models and I don't want any chrome. My wife's Expedition is the star white and it looks so good in the sun.
