Here's my 2.7 Screw 4x4 with Tow & PayLoad Package. It has a 1.5" AS level up front & factory rear blocks removed to lower the rear of the truck. It measures exactly 1/4" higher in rear than the front right now.

Looks great but I think the OP is looking to lower, not lift. That said, I'm going to hijack for a minute. I assume those are factory 20" wheels. Any wheel spacers and what tire size are you running? Beautiful set up. /hijack

I just bought a lowering shackle kit off ebay for 60 bucks I believe stage 3 motorsports has them even cheaper and they have a slot for 1" and 2" lower......my '16 measures (I believe 37" to the wheel molding in front and 39.5" in the back so for around 60 bucks and a little time you can drop 1" or 2" in the rear to eliminate the massive rake fords seem to have or the free 1.25" block in the back

Fast...nice looking rig!! I think your leveling job looks great! Just picked up a '16 KR 4x4 and am going to start with removing the factory blocks...was checking out the rear suspension this past weekend and was wondering if the blocks were removable. The U bolts look like they don't have enough threaded area to tighten up after block removal but I guess they do?

Several have missed the thread title completely...

"How do I get my bed to sit lower"...

Not by raising the front!!!

But if you include the context of the original post WITH the title, he's really looking for an overall more leveled look, which can also be accomplished by raising the front to match the stock rear.

It's a good try, but this statement in the original post doesn't support your point:

"Thought about just putting some weight in the back but then I'm carrying around that weight all the time (mileage, wear, etc.).

Yep factory 20's.....No wheel spacers, & the tires are 275/65 R20 Kanati Mud Hogs. They measure 33.75" tall x 11.5" wide mounted on the factory rim with the weight of the truck on them.

The blocks are removable, you'll have to go to the dealer & order a set of 2wd u-bolts to use for reassembly. They cost you about $25 for the set.

If you actually read my post, you would have seen the part that says "I removed my factory rear 4x4 blocks to LOWER THE REAR OF THE TRUCK". I then added that I installed a 1.5" kit up front which brought the truck to almost perfect level. Just in case the OP's next question was "the rear is still sitting too high".....

Don't get a knot in your tail Skippy, I wasn't talking about you. Your build is very atypical, fewer folks take your path than those that take mine. Most people only raise the front, which doesn't work for me, and doesn't fit what the OP was asking.

So if you read my post, I didn't chastise the responses for raising the front AND lowering the back, just raising the front.

Nice truck and build BTW.
