Spray-in bedliner vs bed mat, and roll-on cover vs no cover. Opinions requested. Thx.

I can't help you with those models, but the cheap one I have flaps a bit at speed but isn't noticeable with the windows up, the slider closed and the radio on (which is how I tend drive above 60 anyhow, because otherwise the wind noise gets too loud for my ears). Below that, the movement isn't particularly bad or noisy except in serious side winds (particularly if the velcro lets go on the upwind side of the truck). I would expect higher-end covers to be no worse. And yes, I am talking real highway speed (70 MPH two-lane/ 80 MPH-posted interstate around here, mostly).

I also have the Dual Liner bedliner which I'm also very happy with.

I have the Truxedo Truxport and do not get noise with the cover driving at 75mph. I've had it since 2013 and recently put it on my 2018. It still fits on the 2018.

Excellent news. I ended up ordering the Truxedo Truxport, due to the many excellent reviews. I was at first suspect about the velcro's durability, but apparently it's not an issue. And I won't be incessantly opening and closing it, so hopefully it'll last for a long time. I also liked the automatic tensioners. And the fact you can adjust the stretching a little bit, and even move the rails outward to compensate for it, if necessary. And having the fabric tight minimized flapping at speed. I was close to ordering a tri-fold thinking it was better because it's sturdier, but after reading several negative reviews that the fabric makes an awful noise when flapping against the structure, having a beefier structure was actually a big detraction. One guy said he was banging his head against the wall for selling his perfectly fine roll-up for a tri-fold, and was going to have to sell it at a loss and buy another new roller. Never thought about that myself. Anyway, I also ordered the BedRug full bedliner, which also had overwhelming positive reviews. And having a cover, all the more reason to get it, even though it withstands the abuse just like the others, while looking much more luxurious. Same with the choice of MAXpider floor mats; they have a luxury look, rather than industrial, which matches my platinum perfectly. He he. Also ordered the Husky fender liners, but passed on the awful looking mud guards. I won't use my truck off-road, at least not on purpose, so don't think I really need them. The main reason I typically install them in cars (when they look integrated), is to prevent paint damage, but I don't think I have to worry about that with the truck. At least I hope so. If I ever see damage to the truck, then I'd reluctantly buy them to prevent more, but honestly doubt they prevent much. Thank you to all who contributed. I think I avoided making the wrong purchase thanks to all of you . Oh, and I also ordered a 'Stubby' antenna to remove that abomination. I hardly ever hear the radio anyway, and when I do is NPR, which should still be fine. I'll have to spend a lot of time installing the BedRug since I want it to look factory, but I like those challenges. He he. Just have to find a freaking bike and then order a chock and ramps, whcih I'm still researching. They're freaking heavy, and bulky. Have a great 4th folks.

Elptxjc, I'll attest to Velcro's durability, it has been holding our Coolaroo sun shade's edges on our pergola for years now. All the wind, rain, snow and sun has had little effect. As for NPR, I gave them up during the last election. I don't trust them anymore to report unbiased news...in my opinion.

Can't beat the TruXport for the price or function. Had one on my 2014 and moved to my 2016. Just sold it as I traded that truck - it still looked new. Never any flap at any speed. It'll tighten itself automatically.
I bought a new one for my new truck. Also had a BedRug on the 2016 - loved it. I've had two spray ins on prior trucks..... and I'm waiting for BedRug to release it for my new truck. Great product, cleans up easy and is easy on the knees. I took it out when I traded my 2016 and got $250 for it....new one is priced at $335.... can't wait for it to get released later this month.

Just a quick note for everyone:
If you decide on a spray-in liner, you're better of to take it someplace and get it done yourself rather than get the dealer to do it.
The dealers usually have a deal going with the place that sprays it and they only give it 1 coat.
If you take it someplace, they usually give it 2 coats. Found this out when I was doing my research on bed liners.

I would steer clear of the wheel chock you selected. It’s not a good fit for wider wheels and doesn’t pinch the tire like a true chock. Try one of these.. https://www.baxleycompanies.com/ they work a LOT better than the cheap one you posted. Search online for a much better price. Why? Revzilla sells it, and they never sell junk. By the way, the bike I'm considering is a black Yamaha FZ-10 (leftover... if I can get a good deal on one, that is), with the typical 120/70 front tire, so that chock should work perfectly. But yes, for fatter tires, it's not a good option. At least not that exact model. As far as how to tie it, the FZ doesn't have a fairing, so I'd prefer to use straps, like KBroderick suggested. But the FZ has handlebars, which are sturdier than clip-ons, so maybe both options are equally good??? I'd need to scrutinize one to decide. The good news is with a wheel chock, there's no need to apply too much pressure, which is the purpose of one, besides safety. That way no risk of blowing up the suspension. Thanks for the comments.
