Default Spray-in bedliner - from factory/dealer or aftermarket?

I'm shopping for either a Lariat or Platinum. Surprised that neither comes standard with a spray-in bedliner. If I can't locate the truck I want that already has the SIB from the factory - is there any downside to having the dealer do it, or having it done somewhere else after I take possession? In other words, is factory going to be the best quality liner, or are they all pretty much the same? Thanks

Most people do LineX or Rhino. Your dealer will probably send it to shop like one of these and charge you extra.

If I was doing a lot of hauling stuff, I'd go Line-X!

I don't haul alot, and got lucky, my 16 came with a Free Ford spray in liner!!!

Quility in this order....

1. Line-X

2. Ford Liner

3. Rhino

Cool. So is aftermarket cost about the same as the $500 Ford charges as an option? I won't be hauling much that would tear up the bed.

Standard Line-X, is 480 or less when you go directly to one of they're shops! Line-X also has more coverage on the tailgate, over Ford Liner. About 20% more, to be exact!

Look at Bullet Liners. I just got mine sprayed with Bullet Liner and it's great. The owner of Bullet was the founder of Line-X. Check them out. Cost me $475 at a local shop around me.

I have the factory and would recommend Line-x. The factory leaves too much exposed paint when the tailgate is open.

I know it's not spray-on, but my truck came with the plastic bed liner - how do these compare / hold up? My first ever pickup so this is all new to me.

dealer threw in Linex for me... best option IMHO

EDIT -- if he won't throw it in, ask for it at the dealer's Cost --- that is about $300 here in Kansas
