Looking a new F150. I like the sport package because of the black interior, and most of them have the center console. Not crazy about the center shifter.....don't get the reason for that in truck.


But, I like the look of chrome bumpers, just bumpers though, nothing else. I do not like the chrome package at all. I would have to change out a lot of stuff if I went that route.

Has anyone put chrome bumpers on a sport? I searched here and google but no luck. How much work would this be?

Once I decide this, I have to decide engines..ugh, or wait until new Ecoboost comes out next year........lots of decisons with these Fords!

You can't get a Sport in White Platinum.

Just swapping bumpers is easy. About a dozen bolts/nuts combined if you're not going to remove driving lights and stuff.

I don't think you can go wrong with getting a sport and trading bumpers. XLT's (non sport) have a column shifter but I hate how much chrome my truck has.

I ended up with an Oxford White Sport, wanted the black interior with the console more than the chrome. Personally I would have loved to trade the wheels for some of the chrome PVD ones. I would have jumped all over a sport with some chrome on it.
