Agreed, I do this so I can floor it and not have it wind out. I like hearing my V8 work, like accelerating onto a highway I'll put it to the floor but shift around 4500.
Funny thing with 3.73's is it's about as fast as I can tap the + to keep it from screaming!

Yep, it’s easy to redline with 3:73‘s, I do it more than I should be!!!
