My 15 works in Sport Mode. So i turn it off. WHY? Because Im in SPORT MODE...!!!! LOL

It looks like auto start/stop is one of the programmable items in the bcm. Hopefully I can turn it off permanently on my 2018, as the Borla exhaust will sound a little silly at the stoplight.

Untrue, it 100% works in sport mode.

It does NOT however, work in Tow/Haul mode.

Hmmmm They forgot to tell my truck. It works in Sport mode but not in tow/haul.

On my 15 it worked in sport mode, but not in tow mode. On my 17 it works in tow mode, but not in sport mode.

Never worked for me in sport mode or tow mode. I assumed that was the way they all were. Strange as I use sport mode quite often. Time to look through the manual and see if there's anything in there about it.

Exact same for my 2017.... no start/stop in Sport or Tow mode. Seems like Ford can't make up it's mind how they want that feature to operate!

Mine doesn't work in tow or sport mode. I see GetWired has the same experience and both of ours are 17's. Maybe it is something Ford changed?

I tested it this morning. My usual drive has the truck shutting off several times, so I put it in sport mode as I left the house. It never shut off. I did make sure to press the brake firmly and I killed the A/C before getting to red lights just to help induce the shutdown.

I did get the gray icon, but it never went to green or turned off.

My '17 most definitely uses Start/Stop in Sport Mode.
