Default Sport Auto Start / Stop

Had an interesting glitch with my 2017 f150 today. When it was in Sport mode the truck did not auto stop. I didn't press the on/off switch. I was happier than heck thinking that I accidentally did something wonderful to disable the feature in sport mode. Alas, after about two hours of stopping for lunch, picking up groceries etc. Auto Start/Stop reverted back to the way it was programmed to work. Anyone else experience this?

Could have been several things like the battery wasnt charged enough or possibly if it was a hot day the truck wasnt cool.

There are so many variables on when start/stop works.

And dont listen to the posts below as Start/Stop most certainly does work in Sport mode in my '17 at least.

I thought stop/start doesn't work when in sport mode?

Are you sure after all the stops and starts you were still in Sport mode?

My 2017 has never turned off in Sport mode.

Why do people go bonkers when they auto/stop start doesn't engage?

there's a whole list of criteria that could not make this engage.

In my old 2015 2.7, the start/stop did work in sport mode. In my current 2017 3.5eco, the start/stop doesn't work in sport mode. I made a thread asking about this a while back but no one responded and now I see it's happened to others.
