Specific Question- 9005 Bulbs in 2015 Fog Lights?
I have done a lot of reading on this forum. I have decided I want plug and play now. Morimotos will come for Father's Day.
So, I know there are a lot of facts and opinions out there on the topic, but I would like to hear from anyone that is actually running 65W 9005 bulbs in their 2015 fog lights. If you have these bulbs, please let me know if you have had any heat related issues, or if you are happy with the set up. Any issues with the bulbs burning our prematurely due to heat?
I am trying to determine if I want these for mine or stay with the 9145. The 9005 are so much brighter and can be purchased with a whiter color closer to the LED headlights. Those are my only 2 options at this point. I know there are a lot of HID conversion and LED options, but I am today between the 9145 and the 9005.
If you have any experience with this set up, please let me know which brand and bulb you went with. Pics would be awesome!
Thanks all!

I did this about 3 weeks ago. The light output with the factory 9005 bulbs in the fogs is significantly better than the 9145 bulbs. No issues so far, but then again, I'm not the guy that cruises around with my fog lights on cuz it looks cool. I only use mine for what their designed for.

Has anyone melted a new 2015+ fog housing with these bulbs? If not I'm going to pull the trigger. Thanks.

Man, I really wish you guys would post links to what you are thinking about as other members are probably in the same boat, like me. Are you talking about these?

I guess the older round housings would melt but the square never did and since 2015 the dogs are square I'm debating this again. I only use the fogs when it snowing heavily and messing with my eyes at night.
Here is a link, same price as cosmetic ones but like I said 3X output.
