Oh, there's just no projector? I thought they were the same as the new raptor lights.

You need the ballasts, they come with the leds sealed in the headlights.

Same exact headlights. They come on the Lariat SE 502a, and 17 Raptor. The bulbs are sealed inside, and no ballasts are included.

LED's are included, and not serviceable, no ballasts are included and that is all that is needed for a complete assembly.

What do you mean by "surprisingly cheap"? They list for $900 each at the dealer.

The pictures of the lights online when pulling up this part # don't look the same: https://www.1aauto.com/2015-16-ford-...FYtLDQodv7kHwg

I have a 2016 Platinum and wanting to switch out to the dark housing like raptor and seems like a great price (265ea) to swap them out. So techincally, it's as simple as swapping the assembly out with my ballasts?

Tasca would have been $1451, I ended up getting them at my local dealer for $1480
That includes a $100 core charge ($50 each) for not returning your old ones.
I used my ballasts and bottom mount plate from the old ones.

Then sell your stock ones for $700-$800 to lessen the blow.

I run a mechanic shop, I can get em for less than $600.
