Default Speaker upgrade only

Alright I know I'm gonna catch flack for this post buuuut, i have yet to find posts or true discussion about Sony system speaker replacement only, if I do find anything it always involves amps and DSP's. I am looking for a genuine upgrade from factory. I love my music but not enough to spend several hundred $'s on it. I have a budget of $300 roughly and would like the best bang for buck, any ideas, or?????

Stupid question, but with the base system how do we confirm if we have the center channel? Believe I do.

"For Sony System and Base Audio with Center Channel Only: these speakers will only fit 2015-2017 F150s with Ford's Sony Premium Sound System or base audio with a center channel speaker."

Center channel speaker takes up about half of the upper tray above the screen...you'll know if it's there.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was thinking someone would say (I have it).

My truck is still being made but speaker upgrades are a top priority for me. I am thinking of doing these up front
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_206CSS...l?tp=106&avf=Y
These in the rear
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_206CSC...l?tp=105&avf=Y
and this in the center
https://www.crutchfield.com/p_206CSC...54.html?tp=105

Total price from Crutchfield $225. Meets your $300 budget and leaves money for beer during the install. I like this combination because all the speakers are matched, from the same product group and, from what I have read, perform well even with lower power systems.

I am not a bass junkie so I will wait and see how the system sounds with the factory sub. I may try to add a more powerful amp and change the speaker in the factory enclosure if I feel it needs some more oomph.

You may be better off using your budget to buy a better set of components for the front and leave the rear and center alone. Most of the sound will be through your comps.

My understanding was that most of the better competent systems would require more power than the factory system provides to reach their potential. Do you have a speaker you recommend that would work well with factory amp? I am willing to spend more on speakers if they are worth the money without adding a new amp.
