Default One Touch Automatic Windows

The front windows being one touch down and up; awesome. WHY IN THE HECK DID THEY NOT DO THAT FOR THE REAR WINDOWS ON THE 4 DOOR?!?!?!

Has anyone converted the rear doors to one touch switches? Is it as simple as a switch swap or is there more involved in it?

I agree, but I can't answer your question.
I'm sub'd.

Isn't there a lockout switch? Just curious, they used to make one

I would say it's not possible to convert. The rear doors don't have modules like the front does - this is the same reason you can't open the rear windows with the Global windows mod.

Way more than a switch. Probably need to install modules, change how the wiring is run.

That's exactly why Ford made it that way. Last year my buddy bought a new Hyundai Elantra and came over to give me a test ride. So we jumped in his new car along with my VERY large Tibetan Mastif in the back seat. He had the back window down and my dog had his head sticking out when my buddy rolled the back window up!!!! It wasn't automatic but he kept his finger on the button until it got my dogs head stuck!! NOT GOOD... However my dog was so strong he pulled the entire back window right out in his panic before my friend could hit the down button..... So he had to get the window replaced after about 200 miles on the car. My dog really had no problem ripping the window out but a small kid might be a disaster..........

Directed, parent company of viper and other car alarm brands used to have a module you could add to an alarm that would control your windows, all windows, up and down. I had it installed in a car way back when. It also allowed for one touch up and down For front and back windows even though the car only had one touch for the front from the factory. Don’t know if they still make and I bet you’d need to add one of their alarms to make it work.
