Silence is probably because he's at work since it's a workday. Since it's summer and the there's more daylight for him to work on it when gets home I'm hoping we'll hear from him later tonight.

Yes! Still alive. Was at work until after 7. But I actually got frustrated and called a guy we know that owns a local shop here and he just went ahead and had the truck taken/towed to his shop to work on. So hopefully tmrw it’ll get on a lift and straightened back out because it was getting past my level of expertise. I just wouldn’t have the time or manpower this week while trying to work at the same time to get anything done.. I’ll keep you guys posted

I'm guessing they picked it up from the rear or dragged it onto a flatbed.

Yeah, supported the rear and driveline and got it on the truck that way

Hopefully the tow truck driver is able to drop it in the shop right over the lift. Techs don’t like to work in the parking lot.....

I'm guessing the shop has something like this to resolve that...

Update: all is well. Although it took some time and some coordination of a freakin tow truck and our friends shop, she is all back right and straight. Once they got it up on the lift they had no problem getting it back and then doing an alignment. Checked lines and everything (that were loosened and slacked before the catastrophe) and no damage to brake lines or anything in the rear.

Oh, and the blocks finally got installed if anyone wants to see that 😅

thanks for your guys help and input keeping me a bit calmer than I would’ve been, even if I did resort to someone more skilled than I. I survived this at under $300 but maybe I’ll let someone else do the job next time

Man I almost did the exact same thing with my truck a few months ago... I was lowering the axle down to install bigger blocks and the axle shifted downward all of a sudden. I about had a heart attack! I don't know how much spline I had left from the driveshaft to the transmission, but it couldn't have been more than an inch. Not a fan of messing with the rear blocks anymore haha.

I know what not to mess with now. I can see myself screwing that up

So with that, rear shocks don't run the risk of being anywhere like that, does it?
