You can get the KR with chrome package and it changes the bumpers to chrome. I don't like the look of it, looks much better with the painted bumper ends.

This is basically a KR w/ chrome package and they put a Platinum tailgate badge on it. Unless they changed out the tailgate at the dealership this is a factory QC issue.

Wow. That's even worse QC than the non-chrome pack KR that had the chrome tailgate appliqué. I think that thread is about 2 weeks old now.

Why is everyone jumping to QC? It's highly unlikely it rolled off the line like this.
The tailgate could have come off a platinum(most likely).

Disagree. I've had multiple dealers tell me they couldn't even swap wheels between trucks because they were legally required to come with what was on the window sticker. This truck obviously has the chrome package. It wouldn't have had a white tailgate. So you think a Platinum owner wanted to swap his Platinum tailgate with the same one that says King Ranch instead and the dealer allowed it. Sorry, I'm not buying it. It's a factory screw up that got through.
