I was in the back of my mom's car when I had a clear view of another driver back into a parked car in front of the video store.
There was a fairly loud bang upon the impact and from my vantage point I could clearly see that the '' lady '' driving the offending car had caused
significant damage to the parked car.
Then the '' lady '' sticks her head out of the car window and yells to the person sitting in the parked car '' I didn't make a dent, I didn't make a dent '' and then speeds out of the parking lot.

I guess people were stupid and incredibly inconsiderate 20+ years ago too

I agree, and let me say: very nice truck
A reg cab 5.0, 3.73 is enough to make me salivate, even without being a short bed!
I have one just like yours but it is a long bed with the heavy duty payload package, needed it like that for work damn it,
otherwise I would have the shorty.

Don't take it personal. Just because you have reverse sensors doesn't mean everyone does. I don't. I have an XLT.

I think your missing the point. Stupid drivers who back up until they touch something are the problem and unfortunately there's no end to them. Again, reverse sensors-tow hitches-mirrors aren't the issue.

Some guy rear ended me lightly about 10 years ago and my hitch went into his bumper cover. I ended up pulling it loose after the impact. Like 2 stuck dogs.

I helped him tug it the rest of the way off and he tossed it on the curb and mumbled something about getting it later.

He must have been in a huge hurry.

My truck is a 2013. The age of the vehicle don't matter it's the age or should I say common sense level of the operator.

Your trying to place blame on innocent people for dumbasses that have no driving skills (aka common sense).

If you smack your leg on the hitch on my truck, PAY attention where you walk!!! If you bump your vehicle into my truck, be prepared to accept the consequences and damage that might ensue.

There is no part of this discussion where you come out on top with your thinking.
