LOL Looks like that bird was trying to get in the truck! I have barn cats that like to sleep on the roof, and the slide down the windshield before jumping off the hood, and in the winter they sleep on the passenger side cowl where it's warm. I get scratches in that are that I have to rub out every so often, but the foot prints sliding down the glass makes me laugh as some times they are sliding down backwards.

Default Freakin’ Birds

We have a fishing spot that is near the base of a dam and for some reason there is a bunch of buzzards that hang around. They wreak havoc on parked vehicles. They ate a section of the gasket at the seams on the roof and ate both of the rubber cowl gaskets. They ate another guys wiper blades.

I've read some comments on a fishing forum where buzzards or ? will eat/destroy the wiper blades and any other decorative rubber/plastic trim while parked at the boat ramp. The offenders are on the "protected species" list too.

A co worker bought a car wash but was confused about the lack of money in the machine that holds coins. Scoped it out and saw some black birds going up the coin return slot and coming out with quarters. They would fly up to the roof where he found the rest of the money.

Yes, buzzards are protected. Some guys will cover their vehicles at this spot, others have used a plastic owl on their roof, both have worked.

Wish I had the photo. A goat standing on the roof of my brothers pristine '69 340 Dart just a couple years ago. Photo was taken by his SIL that had zero concept of a classic car, she thought it was cute.
