That would be great! Thanks! I just want something to compare mine against, simply because all of the dealers I've been to seem to think that's the norm.

Yes, exactly! I tried that and at my wholesalers and haven't seen one yet. Thanks!

Thanks HD150!, I appreciate you getting this picture for me. So, it is the same as mine! I wish Leer had made that clear somewhere in the handouts, or even if the dealer had mentioned it. So now I just have to deal with the leak on the rear door, and the gaps have been covered over with rubber weather stripping, that has been installed by the dealer.

So here's the latest update on this cap. After my dealer removed the shelf or skirt, they installed weather striping and said let us know if it leaks again. Sure enough, there's water coming in when the door is fully open, but only on the drivers side. My dealer calls Leer for me, to ask( at my request) if I upgrade to a fiberglass 100 series contractor cap, will that help me avoid this water issue, and how much extra do I have to spend. Turns out Leer says nope, I will have the same water issue, ( they blame Ford for the tailgate design) and I should buy a GM to avoid dealing with a shelf/skirt on the door) but not a Dodge.
Leer also wants $450 USD restocking fee.
I called Leer, same story....the water has to go somewhere they say. I told that no where in there advertising/website does it say will not fit Ford F150s, no response. So I guessing that I'm stuck with this one, that's why I asked in the topper/shells thread if people have water coming in like I have.
On Wednesday I spoke with a guy with the same cap and he doesn't have that problem. I offered to email Leer some pictures and videos but was told the email(s) would not get through due to their servers.

Did you get any of the promises (like water tightness) in writing? If so, charge it back on your credit card. Unfortunately, this will stick the dealer in the middle... but it doesn't sound like they're doing much for you anyway.

No, nothing in writing. I would hate to do that to the dealer. I would rather work something out. It's amazing how many people that I've dealt with over this who just pass the buck and the so what attitude, i.e. not their problem. I did have one of the other Leer dealers go out of their way to help me, over the phone ( as I'm not close to them) by calling Leer.

***UPDATE***
So after all the disappointing run around from Leers customer service, I finally managed to speak to a Leer regional/national rep and he actually LISTENED to my story, and was not impressed that I was told to sell the Ford, don't buy a Dodge and then buy a GM to get away from my water problem. Without going into details he called me two days later and we had a deal for a new fiberglass cap. The fit n finish is so much better than the DCC cap, the doors open better, also the doors don't make a loud snapping noise every time they open, the handles operate very smoothly, unlike the DCC handles, it fits the truck like a cap should, no gaps that I can poke my finger through and most important NO water pouring into the bed when I open the rear door!
Here it is:

Without the help of the Leer rep and the rep being a decent person, I would have been out of luck. It was too the point I was going to scrap the cap and try and buy a used one at another dealer.

Just had a Leer 180 installed on the new, (to me), 2015 F150. The color is matched up and it has been through two Texas storms with no issues.

Shadowblack, I would have been frustrated with those issues, as well.
