the back corners look just like the tonneau i took off my '12 and put on my '16 does, I'm thinking you got a model for the wrong generation. 9-14 beds were more square 15+ the back corners are rounded hence it not fitting perfectly.

Is it possible you have a bad installer? I agree your cap doesn't look right, but the dealer should be the one bending over backwards instead of telling you too bad and calling Leer yourself. They're the face of Leer and should pull more weight here. If they say it's bad Leer should listen to them.
Being a rookie with these caps, I took mine home without properly checking things the way I should. (I know now). I called my installer up two days later and he had me come over right away to make things right if they couldn't fix it. They fixed it and now I'm very happy.
If your dealer doesn't care that you are not satisfied, you got a bad dealer.

Thanks OntGC for the links. Funny enough I was on their website early this morning and saw that grey one.

2 days ago, moving my son, I let the rear door of my Leer 122 ( very tall cab),operand backup and the overall height is over 8 ft tall so I hit the top of the garage door and heard the noise you do not want to hear....pouf !!!and pieces of glass falling like a heavy rain....those safety glass breaks in thousands of pieces.....holy sh** .....so $550 later it is fine ( the door comes complete, not only the glass). But my cab fits my 8 ft box fine, yours do not or the installer did a bad job.

There isn't much flex in these things. Plus when you install one, which I've done dozens and dozens of times on my previous gen trucks, if it is off you can tell why. Right to left, one side overhangs more ... easy to see. Front to rear the gap in the front gets bigger as the rear overhang increases. Anyone with a ruler should be able to tell if the thing is properly installed in 2 minutes flat. Fixing it is easy too. Loosen the clamps and scoot it over. I used to stand up under mine and pick it up on my shoulders to adjust it.
There is something not right with this. Driving around from dealer to dealer? Why, to find someone who can see the obvious gaps? Maybe to find someone that can center it on the bed? A person that can make a coffee should be able to fix the install or the cap is defective. Round truck? Nonsense. They are either made to fit the truck or they aren't. Tell that guy to get you a coffee and see if he can do it. I bet not.
I think you are hoping for a miracle. There is no other solution, either live with it or send it back. Personally, I'd send it back. Order a new cap from another manufacture. I'm sorry that you got a defective product for your truck. I hope you can iron this out with Leer. The pics you posted indicate that it is pretty bad.

I haven't seen another 2015-present F150 with a Leer DCC cap on it in all of my travels, prior to my purchase, or I would have taken a close look. I was hoping someone on here had a DCC cap on their truck or company work truck and they could post a picture(s) of the rear showing their overhang or and gaps like I have around the door. Thanks for all the replies.
