So happ......wait, what?
So finally went and picked up my KR today, super happy with the truck. It's completely loaded with MSRP of $63475. Driving home playing with all the toys like a child on Christmas morning and my phone rings. It's my salesman, they made a mistake on the paperwork and I have to come back. He says they used the wrong invoice and my payment will be going up $30 a month. Got home checked ny sales agreement and sure enough I drove off in a King Ranch, but signed papers for a Platinum with less options. :wallbash:

I would tell him you want your payments for what you agreed on. You were looking at a KR. You negotiated on a KR. They screwed up, not even sure how that's possible, but they did.

He offered a free spray in liner for my trouble but wouldn't come down on the price. This sucks

Don't know how long you financed but if it's anywhere between 5 and 6 years you're looking at about a $2000 difference. See if you can get some goodies to try and make up for it. Spray in bedliner, digishield, couple oil changes, whatever. Something at least.
Or you can be a forgiving human being and just chalk it up as their mistake and people aren't perfect. |
Took the 0% for 72. $2100 difference, which basically covered sales tax

Bought a 2006 Trailblazer SS new and signed all paperwork. Walked out to truck and checked vin before starting it with salesman and vin was wrong. Told salesman and finance guy they were retards if they could not do the most basic part of the deal and I was the one to do all of the checking for them. Imagine the mess if a couple of months went by before catching it. Since then I ALWAYS walk out and triple check vin's before I sign a single piece of paper. It took 2 more days to unwind and re-do the deal again with the proper vin. I now take cell phone pictures of vin before going in to sign paperwork.

That sucks...I'm happy you and the dealer found some sort of solution.
After signing the paper work and driving the truck off of the lot I would have told them to get stuffed haha |
I would of drove the sh$t out of it and took it back and said, I'm keeping the same price or you can just have it back with all these miles. Then go somewhere else and buy. :)
