Ford doesn't recommend snow plowing with ecoboost engines.
But that probably won't stop some from doing it.

The snow plow ready option is only available with 5.0 engine trucks.
I believe the Lariat and higher trim snow plow ready optioned 4x4's have the 4A option deleted with only 4X4 part time.

Regular plowing? Bad idea.
Plowing your driveway? Why not.

yeah i looked at that. i just purchased a snoway 26 series plow for my truck just trying to see what others are doing. most tell me don't use heated seats and steering wheel while plowing. they say it will cut down your power consumption a lot and distribute power to where it needs.

Maybe a mod can move this to the towing/hauling/plowing forum...

Sounds like they "tested and approved" their own plow system with no input from Ford. Doesnt sound sketchy at all.

I would be hesitant to put a plow on the EB's, especially the earlier ones, because of the intercooler being in the lower opening on the bumper. Whether the plow is up or down its probably going to be blocking that.

Blocks cooling also. Multiple threads discussing this as noted.
