Anyway, that's way off topic... I'm out. Onward.

I have to agree that Free Pandora is the way to go. I get what I actually want to listen to and I already have a 12 GB plan on my phone so why not. Only downside is that the app stops on Base Sync when an Ad comes on and you have to re-enable the app.
Sirius radio is SEROUSLY overpriced!! I'm not making a $30 payment for music with tons of DJ talk. I pay $9/month for 2 TVs with netflix, why would I pay more for music that has no video and only 1 feed with talk. No thanks. When 6 months runs out, I'm done. If they charge about $2 or $3/month, maybe but not $7 or more per month.

I called 2 months ago to renew 2 vehicles, they wanted 120 per car plus taxes and fees. I said I would gladly pay the 78 I had been paying per vehicle, they gave me 2 cancellation numbers.

I tried search and the "Google trick", but all the results were either irrelevant or several years old. I know there is a thread on here, but it would take all year to find it. At any rate, our 6mo trial subscription just expired, so what do you pay for Sirius? I know there are some tricks and haggling involved, but my wife wants it a lot more than I do, but I figure I can work a better deal with two subs than one (we got our vehicles the same day, separate accounts). Current offer is 5mos for $30. Has any one extended that to a full year for the same price? Thanks for all the help! BTW, I know to NEVER, NEVER give them a credit card!!! I made that mistake years ago!
Contact them, it goes to corporate customer service not India talking to Jake.
Reason i say this is... long story short
I have a lifetime subscription on my 2nd transfer to a new radio when i bought my F150.
The call center told me i had to give up my internet radio when i transferred my lifetime subscription to my F150.
When i Bought my lifetime back in 2007 i was told i get everything Sirius offers including internet radio and i could transfer it 3 times.
Well the call center was no help at all. So i contacted the link i attached. the American person at corporate was more then helpful. gave me her corporate email address, researched my case. saw i had everything Sirius offered and reinstated my internet radio. Also, I was told on the phone when i bought the lifetime for my car in 2007 i could transfer 3 times, well the small print said yes you could on all radios except car equipped radios. BUT since Sirius had been transferring my radio 2 other times (1 to a mini cooper and 1 to my F150) they set precedence and she waved the not transferring to car radios clause.
Moral of the story, go right to the head cheese at corporate skip Jake in India.
I also went right to Corporate when Verizon ****s in store dropped my unlimited data on my phones recently long short the VP of wirelss technology bought my phone contracts out and i owe nothing on my monthly plans now.

Should anyone decide to consider Pandora, I do recommend the Pandora One subscription. $5 a month and 100% worth it (in my opinion). No need for channels and uncontrollable programming like with Sirius, and no ads... just pick a song, artist, or genre and go.
