Same here. All my vehicles have the side mirrors so I have NO blind spots, i.e I can see a car move from rear view mirror, to side mirror, then to my peripheral vision.

If I adjust my side mirrors on the F150 this way, the little mirrors provide nothing else.... useless. Now, if you like to see the side of your truck while driving they may be helpful to see the blind spot you created.

I know I'm old and set in my ways and can't help myself but the little mirrors are actually convex in shape. If they where concave the view would be a smaller field not larger.

If my main mirrors are adjusted correctly, the "blind spot" mirrors are a useless distraction. I wish that the whole mirror was "normal", like they were on my '09 XLT.

My 2015 is the same. The passenger side blind spot mirror shows nothing more than the main mirror and is not seperately adjustable. Drivers side works great. I’ve stopped in the dealer a few times to see if ford fixed this and they have not. Just looked at a 2018 and looked identical to mine.

It looks the same to me on my truck.

I had them on my 15 and not on 17 that has blis. I would take them back in a heart beat. I pull up to the merge lane and I have to look way over my shoulder to if there is someone coming. In the 15 so could see them in the convex mirror thus way better. Blis not that great for this reason. And I hate those round sick on mirrors. If I could find a mirror that didn't look like a $1.00 add on I would get one.
