Had to return my ARE yesterday for cracking around the rear doors. First one of the 7 I've owned that's ever did that.

I like what you've done here. I'm pretty staunchly against owning daily drivers that are anything but white, but if I were to change that Guard Metallic would be a heavy consideration.

I really wanted to wait for the new A.R.E. cx or z series cap but after speaking with one of the dealers it's sounds like it won't be till the end of the year and with the hunting season soon approaching I can't wait that long so I ended up ordering a Lakeland cap. I couldn't see the $800 difference between the A.R.E. and Lakeland.
My local A.R.E. dealer told me he would never sell a cap saying it would not leak so I decided to save the $800 . I would be very dissapointed spending over $2700 and if I have a water problem hearing that is normal.
Was told 2 1/2 - 3 weeks so I'll post pics after install.
