Show me your bed toppers (camper shells)!

Is this something I could re-do/have done down the road if the installers can't figure it out the first go around ? I'm handy enough that I could probably figure it out, just don't have much time to mess with it right now.

I gutted all the installers wiring, it was horrible
I then ran a power wire to a 3 hole accessory outlet in the bed and a another wire for the cap's third brake light
Ground was short and done near the outlet panel
I have a dual row LED strip lights in my cap, which are tied into the 3 hole outlet......LEDs draw next to nothing, so I can have the lights on, whether the truck is running or not
Two Streamlight flashlights are also docked in the bracket I fabbed up

To the owners of Leer fiberglass 100 series caps with the "shelf" that covers the top of the tailgate. When it rains or snows( and water or snow lays on the shelf), when you open the door fully, does the water run into the back of you truck, or onto the tailgate? Thanks

Anyone looking to add rope lighting,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
These are pretty nice, got a set last week, but have to figure out how I want to mount them. Thinking of getting two aluminum strips and securing them to the top of the window frame and attaching these to the strips.

I've had my 100XR since November and can't remember water or snow ever coming in when opening the rear glass. If there is a significant amount of snow I usually clear it before opening, but rain and small amounts of snow run off the glass and then follow the outside edge of the weather stripping until it exits on the body above the tail lights. You can see the weather stripping just below the hinges in the picture
