That's my understanding. But they maintain separate manufacturing and distribution, apparently.

Had the Leer, had the Century. I like the Century, and will be installing on my today-ordered F-150 Lariat. It just boils down to personal preference. This image is my old '99 250 w/ the Century Royal.

I have the Z Series from A.R.E and I really like it. Just waiting for the weather to get better to install a bed rug to finish off the look of the inside. Make sure you get the drop down window inside the topper, makes cleaning the back window of the cab a lot easier.
Also looking at BFG 275/60/20 tires later this month, since there is supposed to be a rebate offer from BFG.

I should note: My camper shell will stay on the truck as long as I have it. Before I went to get my camper shell I removed the third rear brake light bulb and the two bed light bulbs. This way I do not have them coming on in-between the cab and the camper shell. I did not experience any problems in doing this. I had read that with some years of F150s removing the third brake light bulb disables the cruise control.
