I just installed my Shelby B&M rear differential cover.

I guess if you have money to spend, your choice.
I thought maybe it added 20 hp.

ok, I do well for my self, All my cars have all the bells and whistles. And when I buy a car I get the high end of the model. I own many muscle cars. this platinum will pull all of them. And for the 20hp, sarcasm will get you nowhere so stop the hate.

Not hate, I honestly was trying to understand why to install it. Maybe I would have learned a good thing. Such as it holds more fluid to keep gears better lubricated or cooled. So by saying why not, means its just fir looks.

Well for one thing the OP can change diff fluid easily, and might have more fluid capacity with the new cover.

That would be my only reason for buying an aftermarket diff cover. But I have yet to find one that isn't a performance oriented one that costs too much money, and still maintains the stock oem shape.
