Setting Parking Lights as DRLs - Great Find!!!

Changing Color of Parking Lights
New to the forum, but already enjoying the wealth of knowledge here. I'd like to know if the stock LED setup + FORScan has the ability to change the color of the front parking lamps to white. If not, does anyone know the process for changing that bulb out? What type LED is it?

sgwhitney: from what I've read & learned thus far the factory LED lites (front & rear) are sealed units and can't be accessed/serviced except by Ford dealer.

I think this is what you are looking for. The light housing has to be opened up it do install. Not easy to do but there are posts here on how to do it.

Question about Forscan
Everyone has wanted to have the amber halo anzo’s as DRL’s. I want to have the drls stay with low beam but when it’s dark or I want to turn on lights that the halo is amber not white. Basically similar to led stock. Let me know what you think.

Do I want this for halogens
726-50-01: 017F
726-26-02: x1xx xxxx xxxx
and 726-45-01: xxxx 7Fxx xxxx
I tried the above halogen settings and it does work for parking lights as DRL.

Is it possible to run just the front parking lamps as DRL? I don't want it running the taillights too.
I have the OEM halogen headlights but have switched to LED bulbs and switchback LEDs in the turn signals. So if I set it to parking lights, I'll have a nice white light. What I want to do is keep the low beams and add the front parking lights....what should I do?
Also, is there a way in ForScan to enable the Fog light switch to act independently? Right now the headlights have to be on to turn fog lights on.....I want to be able to switch the Fog Lights on no matter what the other lights are doing.

You can set your park lights only as DRL, but the rears will light also. I have OEM halogens, and have front switchbacks. I am running parks as DRL with the white LED light.
I'm not sure if you can run fogs only on demand. You can run fogs as DRL, with or without the park lights.

The only way I know of to run the front park lamp(with out tail lights) is actually not the park lamp but the turn lamp. I tried this with a few LEDs but none would stand up to running in the "bright" mode for any length of time.
Also, no setting that I have found (other than DRL fogs) will let the fogs work without the headlight switch on at least to the park setting.
