Service Advancetrac/ Hill Descent Control Fault

I have a 2015 F150 Lariat 3.5 ecoboost with just over 9,000 miles on it. I have loved my truck for a lot of reasons, but have often been nervous of the mounting problems others have experienced on this forum.
I haven't had a large enough complaint/problem to have to fight with the service department yet. However, today I experienced the Advancetrac service message. I also had a check rear park aid, hill decent fault, and hill start assist not available. It happened while driving in my neighborhood with dry roads going around 20 mph. I was almost home and a couple hours later started my truck and still had the same error messages.
After driving out of my allotment the message cleared and my truck is now driving normally again. I am starting to get nervous because I have read a lot about sudden loss of power associated with this and throttle body failures. I made an appointment for next week but I am afraid the dealer won't see any codes and send me on my way.
Hopefully, a Ford service representative will review this to help in the process.
Since this is my first time having a big enough issue to seek warranty work I will compile my other issues I have experienced and that I have seen reported from others on this forum:
-Poor body alignment/spacing around front bumper and corner panels
-Driver door seal breaking while driving down the road over small bumps
-Harsh downshifting while in cruise control
-Stretched/wrinkled leather seat covers
-Poor seat cooling
-Squealing cooling fan after turning engine off
-Grinding harsh sound from front axle with 4x4 engaged
I am really starting to regret purchasing this truck as much as I have enjoyed it. Reliability after warranty is a huge concern for me. Hopefully I have a good experience from my service department and will update accordingly.

Hey all, I had a similar problem with my 2014 Ford FX4. Hill Decent Light fault message followed by a "Service Advance Trac" message BUT in addition this whenever I tried to touch the brake to release my cruise control the engine would surge and I'd have to push on the brake like mad to get it to disengage. Turns out the "Stop Lamp Switch" that's attached to the brake was faulty and causing both issues. I just had the master brake cylinder replaced due to a factory call back the day before so I don't know if something was damaged during that project or not. Nevertheless, they replaced the switch and all is good. :-)

Sorry for resurrecting this thread...
Wondering if anyone had a resolution to this. I have a 2015 F150 SCREW 3.5l ecoboost FX4 (80k miles) that has started having this exact problem. Usually when driving on the highway. It happened once and I lost power (it limited speed to 10mph I noticed after it happened a few times) so quickly just worked my way over to the shoulder. Turned off the truck, turned it back on and no problems. This happened a few times over a month and then recently it happened to me a few times within a few hours. And I would have to restart the engine a couple of times and actually press and hold the hill start assist button to manually turn it off before it would work.
Ready to take it into the dealer but would love as much info from people who have solved this problem already if possible.
Thanks for any help!

Loss of Throttle response, cluster rigged for Christmas with the flashing warnings
Same thing happened to me this week. Happened 7 times from last Thursday to today (Sunday). Threw all the warnings mentioned. No throttle response. When stopped, the engine idle was low and rough. Took the seventh time to lock in the code and to get the check engine light to come on.
Module: Powertrain Control Module
Code: P2112 - Throttle Actuator A Control System - Stuck Closed
Status:
- Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is On for this DTC
- Test not complete
Module: On Board Diagnostic II
Code: P2112 - Throttle Actuator A Control System - Stuck Closed
Status:
- Confirmed - malfunction is confirmed
It was coming in every time intermittently. I could detect it with Forscan Lite on my cellphone each time it happened (when I had Forscan lite running after the first time). But, it would not stay in after cycling the ignition (which I had to do to get the truck moving again).
Now it sitting at the shop with the locked in "check engine" light because of the above code. Glad I bitched at the regional service manager when I bought my truck because the service department botched a warranty repair. They gave me a 6 year, 75000 mile PremiumCare warranty with a $100 deductible.

Can I ask what they finally did to fix the issue, or are you still waiting to find out?
I have an appointment setup on Monday afternoon and planning on leaving the truck with them for a few days while I'm out of town so hoping we can get it all done!

Doofus dealership
So, the dealer replaced the throttle body. They told me it didn't solve the problem and I had a wiring issue. The next day (today), they call me up and say it was the throttle body after all, come and get it. I show up, pay the $100 warranty deductible, and drive away. Now the air conditioner (which worked when I dropped it off) doesn't work. Compressor clutch won't even engage. Drove it around the block and took it back. Service adviser says, "hey, one of these silver lines under the hood should be cold, you could have a refrigerant leak." When I tell him the compressor clutch isn't engaging, he gives me the deer in the headlights look, like "what's a compressor?"
What a miraculous coincidence that when they were searching for phantom electrical problems, the result is my air conditioner suddenly doesn't work? Go figure. Now they have something else to fix... I wonder what the story will be tomorrow and what they'll break next.

Well i I got the call today that it was the throttle body. $750 to replace! I’m at $80k now (bought this truck used last month) so no warranty anymore... I’m supposed to pickup on Friday when I get back in town... hoping if I end up having to pay that much no more mysterious gremlins come home with me....

Well, my truck runs quieter and smoother with the new throttle body than it ever has. At wasn't it amazing that they found an electrical wiring issue with my AC compressor after jerking all the wires under the hood? Shocker. They f fixed it for nothing.
