I, also, have noted that the brake pedal is way too far to the left. My foot never contacts the pedal anywhere except on its right edge. To put my foot flat on the pedal requires a weird contortion of my right leg. One of many examples of half-baked engineering on the vehicle, unfortunately.

Half baked for you, perfect for me. Can you see their conundrum?

I felt the same way about my pedals at first, but after owning mine for almost a month now, Im getting used to it.

I do feel the brake pedal is too far to the left and they dont feel even. so I do understand exactly what OP is talking about.

I wouldn't put all the blame on the engineers. American drivers have been known to get confused when the brake pedal and throttle are close enough to heel-toe, and the lawyers may have had a thing or two to say about the matter.

(http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/201...ation-debacle/ being the best-covered example)

Oddly enough, despite having short legs and a relatively small (8.5US) foot, I don't find the pedal position problematic. I can't operate both pedals simultaneously with opposite edges of the same foot, but that's been the case in most automatics I've driven (same case in my 2000 Chevy Suburban, a bunch of early-2000s Ford and Chevy vans a former employer rented, and, I think, my Taurus). If I plant my heel about midway between the pedals, switching back and forth is easy enough; if I want to pretend the truck is a sports car, I just use my left foot on the brake.

Since it's a truck, I would assume it's to accommodate wearing clunky work boots. I don't have an issue with placement even in normal shoes. I'm happy with the adjustable pedals though because I usually end up too far from the dash in other vehicles. I'm just over 6'2". So the first thing I did was adjust height and made sure the seat was close up enough that I can comfortably reach everything on the dash without having to lean forward or sideways. Then adjust the steering wheel and pedals according to that. Makes for a comfortable drive when everything's in reach.

But I've been driving stick for decades, and even after 2.5 years, I'm still not 100% used to the lack of clutch. I reach for the non-existent clutch pedal every time I go to start the truck

6'4" with 38 " inseam. Interestingly, I don't have a problem with the head rest that a lot of other tall folks complain about.

I'm 6'3", 32" inseam, size 12, and long legs. I noticed this weird pain on my right leg right above my quad near my hip. I was thinking about this thread the other day and when I got in my truck, I noticed I have to move my right leg over quite a bit to the left just to reach both pedals like you described. This is kinda of a pain(literally) since I absolutely love everything else about this truck.

I think every vehical i drove the brake sat higher. My 65 impala SS even had more space between pedals than the van i drove. I kept hitting the underside of the brake pedal in the van because i was used to sliding my foot over more and the vans brake pedal was much higher. You get used to changes
My only trouble is getting my seat back to where i like it after my wife or son drives it. Really need memory that seat memory button.

I find it very truck like. I have driven just about every type of vehicle under the sun - semi, loaders, etc. To me, the pedals seem appropriate for the vehicle. It is not a Porsche! Move your foot.

My opinion
