Seat Belt Chime Disable
Found this procedure to disable the seat belt chime:
The good news is it worked like a charm turning the chime off.
The bad news is, it also disabled the adaptive cruise control. Bummer!
Is there another way to disable the seat belt chime that does not have undesirable side effects?

You could put the seat belt on.

The procedure in the owner's manual works for disabling the chime while driving. Unfortunately, it doesn't disable the initial chimes that occur if you turn the key and then put the belt on.
