Default Schedules maintenance chart; your thoughts

I saw this maintenance plan and like to stay ahead of their recommendations.

I'm at 75k miles and want to do my plugs. On the 08 room I kept reading how the plugs get suck and break. I have a 100k ford warranty and would rather hey break it and fix it that myself. Was this an issue for our year models?

Hmmm...not sure where that service chart came from. I didn't think coolant needed to be done for a lot longer than 50K. I don't know which engine you have but in the 3.5EB they don't seem to have an issue with plugs getting stuck.

The spark plug breakage problem was on the '04 - '08 5.4L engines. The plugs were 2-piece, and carbon would build up on the long ground shank going into the combustion chambers, siezing the ground shank, and breaking the plug if you tried to remove it. See the photo below:

Pulled it from online. Thanks though. Is it far off?

What's wrong with using the owner's manual?

I don't go by that. Like I said, I do everything early. For example the transmission fluid. I'm not going to let it sit there and wait to change it after 150,000 miles. I'm actually planning to change it at now at 75k miles.

The owners manual breaks it down by type of driving. Towing, severe duty, and off road. Read it over and decide what schedule works for you. I prefer the severe duty chart as I live in a hot dusty environment.

The plug issue was resolved long ago.

Discussed many times. For those smarter than Ford's engineers, waste your money. Everyone else, follow the manual.
