I like the stamped back. I prefer it over having badges at least, so that probably dulls my concern for the style of stamping (I hate badges that stick out).
The front wasn't my favorite in most press shots, and even though I can't stand chrome (especially on a truck), this one in the OP pictures doesn't look bad to me. I remember thinking the 2015+ F-150 wasn't as cool looking as the previous gen, especially something like a 2014 FX4 with HIDs, man that's a good looking truck, but this gen grew on me. I still turn my head more for a 13/14 FX4 though when I see a nice one.

Love it and got mine ordered. Mirrors are my only beef, since they keep shrinking compared to the ones on my 2012.
Also wish they'd have dual pipes out the back

The reason I bought my 17 Platinum 2 months ago versus waiting for the 18 was the ugly front end. Father in law bought a 17 Platinum as well last month for the same reason. With all the half ton competition I would anticipate the front will be changed again in 2020.
