Sat in a Ram Bighorn today

The way most people drive you'd think they were sitting in their living room having a snooze!

Picked a friend up at Dodge dealership today and sat in a new 19 Bighorn.
Listed at 60k Canadian, right at same price point as my loaded XLT wth 302A package.
Didnt look hard at the window sticker for options but sitting in the truck Im pretty impressed with the interior.
The cloth bucket seats felt very comfy with nice fabric, controls felt and looked good, center console has tons of storage and configurations.
The under floor storage compartments have always been awesome...
Didnt have that monster 12 inch nav screen(just the little 8 incher)....which still looked huge.
Overall the interior is pretty impressive, and really seems to make my 17 interior look...well dated.
If theres one spot Ford needs to improve on its the interior of the F150 as far as Im concerned.
Ive watched alot of videos on the new Ram....I can see why they rate the interior higher than the F150s

That said yes the Rams have always had very nice interiors. Personally I think Ram builds a better truck than Ford.
Lucky for Ford they got all the fanboys to drink the kool aid so they have a pretty strong following.
I think the interiors on all trucks nowadays look pretty good.
I dont like the column shifter in the GMs and I don't like the **** shifter on the Rams.

My truck is now 6 years old...I bought the highest trim level Lariat with the luxury package and my interior is still quite nice and suitable to me.

in my experience, fca products are polished turds. they look great sitting on the showroom, but they fall apart after only a few years which is why they give big discounts and the resale value is much lower than everyone else. if you lease or trade before the warranty is up, i guess you might be fine with a ram. My f150 hasnt been problem free by any stretch, but its been a whole lot better than the last fca product i had.

I dont buy a truck to re sell so resale means nothing to me. If thats your big concern just lease.

Everyone seems to forget the old Ram was developed and engineered under Mercedes ownership of Chrysler. This new Ram is all Fiat.

I would wonder if the bedsides of the new Ram will rust out as quickly as nearly every road salt exposed Dodge did over the past 40 years.

My son works at a 'Buy Here Pay Here' place right behind our largest Dodge dealer and I have looked over the RAMs a few times.
In my opinion:
In my opinion:
- No 360 degree camera
- No tailgate step
- No Power Deployable Running boards
- No center console shifter
- Pro trailer backup
- Bed side steps
- No FORScan to customize the truck! Can't live without:
- No double honk
- Secure idle
- Auto relock
- Engine & transmission temp
- Global window up/down
- Bambi mode
- Panic alarm 2 press
- Turn Signal Flash #
- No Livinitup to help us all with FORScan
