Sat in a Ram Bighorn today
Picked a friend up at Dodge dealership today and sat in a new 19 Bighorn.
Listed at 60k Canadian, right at same price point as my loaded XLT wth 302A package.
Didnt look hard at the window sticker for options but sitting in the truck Im pretty impressed with the interior.
The cloth bucket seats felt very comfy with nice fabric, controls felt and looked good, center console has tons of storage and configurations.
The under floor storage compartments have always been awesome...
Didnt have that monster 12 inch nav screen(just the little 8 incher)....which still looked huge.
Overall the interior is pretty impressive, and really seems to make my 17 interior look...well dated.
If theres one spot Ford needs to improve on its the interior of the F150 as far as Im concerned.
Ive watched alot of videos on the new Ram....I can see why they rate the interior higher than the F150s

Check it again in a few years. Dodges are known for having shiny interiors that fall apart, start squeaking, etc. in a year or two.

Not a fan boy like some here, just stating the simple fact that Ford needs to step up their game interior wise.
And I cant brag about no issues with my F150 interior either...
My dash is warped and heated seats are messing up.
But whatever dude....

and when Ford releases their new gen in a couple of years in will be a step up just as the '19 Ram is a major step up from their last gen.
Pretty soon we'll think we're sitting in our living room.

Considering the F-150 went into production in 2014 for the 2015 model year the design (interior and exterior) had to be finalized years before probably around 2010 or 2011. The cabin was designed for the light duty and super duty trucks and the instrument panel had to be used in the Expedition also. You also have to remember that this generation F series is ALL NEW from the all aluminum construction to the new frame. It also included an all new turbo charged engine and cabin design that would be used in the Super Duties and Expedition. The redesigned F-150 will probably focus more on design and tech since the frame, body and powertrains will be carryover.
Compared to the changes Ford made to the F series trucks the Ram can be considered a redesign rather than all new. Therefore, I'm sure FCA had more money to spend in interior design. And I agree the Ram's new interior looks awesome, I just wish they could put it in the old body style. The new look is plain compared to how bold and aggressive the old design was.

I am definitely a Ford person as I have owned Ford my whole life, but I would be willing to try that new dodge. I have not driven one, but the interior is amazing. The outside looks good too. The truck has more features than any other truck on the market. The air suspension probably makes for an incredibly smooth ride. Hope Ford does a great redesign for 2020 or 2021.
