A dealer local to me has a 2016 SuperCrew Lariat 502a truck well loaded up with the technology package, piano roof Etc.

the truck has just under 30000 miles with the 3.5 EcoBoost. It is a sport package truck.

they are firm at $29,500. What do you think of the price? The truck looks very nice and the repairs look good. I have even seen before pictures and the truck was not hit bad.

I would keep a few things in mind with that truck. There is no factory warranty on a salvage title vehicle. And if that vehicle was in a flood zone, with all those 502A electronics, good luck.

I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Depends on what it was salvaged for. Salvaged doesn't always mean severe frame damage. It could be something else that was completely repairable and the value of the repair caused it to go to a salvage title.

Insurance is the big thing. Usually you'll get ONLY liability so if you wreck it you're on the hook for either finishing paying off the truck and/or paying for repairs.
It would have to be one heck of a deal (under $10K) for me to think about it.

The rule of thumb is that when a vehicle has a salvage title it's worth at least 33% less. This truck is mid to upper 30s with good title. so the salvage should bring it down to mid 20s.

A rip off IMO. Unless you pretty much give it away, I know no one who wants a salvage title vehicle that maybe unsafe and have major unseen damage. I wouldn't want it for $10K.

I would stay away from the PANO roof...it is garbage and I have had nothing but troubles with it. I just today made a deal on a new 2018 f150 without that roof.....and will be glad when it's gone.
